Five fathers showing off all the fun — and some of the pitfalls — of modern parenting.
– KEYS SOULCARE
Fatherhood, no matter how good your intentions, can be messy, frustrating, and full of trial and error. It’s crucial to have a support system that claps back at male stereotypes and toxic masculinity, so we’re sharing our favorite online spaces for fathers and celebrating those who dad so hard.
1. “Dad, How Do I?” Videos
Seattle-based dad Rob Kenney is the father some of us — himself included — never had, and began his instructional YouTube channel at the behest of his grown daughter. While raising his own children, his mantra was to raise “good adults.” Though his two offspring have left the nest, he continues to upload useful videos that cover everything from how to tune a guitar to touching, fatherly advice.
2. Paternal Podcast
On Paternal Podcast, host and dad of two Nick Firchau dives into individual stories of fatherhood and manhood. Some of our faves include how a polar explorer tackles physically distant parenting, modern fatherhood through the eyes of an NFL pro, and more. Each episode is a thoughtful listen, coupled with unique tales from fathers and sons of all walks of life.

3. Beleaf in Fatherhood
Family man, comedy content creator, and podcast host Glen Henry shares his never-boring parenting experience on social media in hopes of empowering men through example and mentorship. Keep your eyes on his youngest, Uzi, whose antics keep Henry on his toes. (Spoiler alert: He’s a seat belt Houdini.)
4. Sean Lowe
You may recognize Sean Lowe from a certain TV dating show. The former Bachelor is now a dad of three and keeps his sanity through lots of laughs. And, while he’s done passing out roses, he always finds a way to bring his littles in on the (adorably silly) joke.
5. The Dad Gang
As the old saying goes, “It takes a village.” The Dad Gang is an online community created to support and uplift Black fatherhood. They share the heart and soul of parenthood, and all the (literal) crap in between.
