Bath time has never been so good, thanks to these three rituals.
– KEYS SOULCARE
From getting cozy at the end of cold days to setting the scene for some much-needed personal time, taking a bath is one of our fave ways to unwind. (We dare you to name a more fun way to get squeaky clean.) Now that we’re spending even more time at home, we’re trading in the quick shower for a long, luxurious bath.
If you want to make bath time even more special, check out these three rituals to level up your soak.
Epsom Salt
Epsom salt (not to be confused with the salt we cook with) is super high in magnesium, which is proven to support muscles and organs like the heart, lungs, and lower intestines. Plus, it can be magical when added to a hot bath. Not only do the dissolved crystals add a softer, milker texture to the water itself — yes, it feels as great as it sounds — but it also exfoliates and conditions skin while you soak.
Eucalyptus
Want to give your bath an instant spa factor? Tie a few branches of eucalyptus to your shower spigot or tub faucet. The plant is known to clear sinuses, ease sore throats, and remedy your common cold. Hot water releases its natural essential oils, so take a deep breath and relax. Since this room-filling fragrance lasts for about a week, you can enjoy it morning, noon, and night.
Rosewater
From Alicia’s love of adding rose petals to her bath to the Rose of Jericho in our Comforting Balm and Reviving Aura Mist, it’s no secret that we love rose here at Keys Soulcare! As it turns out, layering it into bath time is as simple as finding the nearest spray bottle. Blend distilled water with rose essential oil to make your own. Mist from hair to skin to enjoy an on-the-spot moisture boost on top of the beautiful scent. (Pro tip: If you have fresh petals on hand, follow a recipe like this one.)
