Illuminate every bit of you with our multitasking, glow-restoring Be Luminous Skin Exfoliating Powder.
– KEYS SOULCARE
Although caring for the skin you already have is a key part of a healthy beauty routine, exfoliating is a surefire way to keep your current and new skin cells looking fresh.
“By removing those dull and dead cells, you are able to see your more refreshed skin underneath and increase the effectiveness of your other skincare products,” says Dr. Scott Paviol, a Charlotte, North Carolina-based dermatologist. “Adding [an exfoliant] with physical or chemical formulas that are gentle yet effective will reveal your brightest, most beautiful you.”
And when it comes to being good to every one of our layers, our new Be Luminous Skin Exfoliating Powder is a beautiful place to start.
“This exfoliator is so gorgeous. It starts as these light, tiny beads of goodness, and once you add water to it, it completely dissolves and feels so good.” — Alicia
Developed with Keys Soulcare consulting dermatologist Renée Snyder, M.D., it features a water-activated blend of Hojicha powder, mung beans, and oats, as well as a performance-boosting lactic acid infusion.
“Lactic acid weakens superficial layers of top bonds of the skin in order to address uneven pigmentation, age spots, and a dull and uneven complexion,” says Dr. Snyder. “The oats have saponins in them, which are natural cleansers — and they also help to retain moisture.”
The result? An exfoliating powder that buffs away dullness, allowing you to glow from within.
“It’s not like others that I’ve experienced, where it feels so harsh,” says Alicia. “You still feel a cleansing and exfoliation, but not in that rough sandpapery kind of way.”
Wet your hands and face, apply a small amount of the skin exfoliator to your palms, and add water to create a creamy foam. Gently massage powder onto skin in circular motions before rinsing with warm water and patting dry. (Dr. Snyder recommends indulging two to three times per week.)
Add the accompanying mantra — I am layered, complex, and divine — as a testament to loving every layer of the current you while radiating even more from each moment forward.
