Sallie Krawcheck is the founder of Ellevest, a financial company built by women for women. Named Bankrates’s Best Mission-Oriented Investing Service, Ellevest is on a mission to close the gender wealth gap. By educating women on how to create a diverse investment portfolio to meet their specific goals, Sallie brings sustainable wealth management and financial planning resources to help women grow their money — and confidence — over time.
2. Thasunda Brown Duckett
As the president and CEO of TIAA, Thasunda Brown Duckett is leading a provider of secure retirements and outcome-focused investment solutions for academic, research, medical and governmental workers. Thasunda is just the fourth Black woman to ever lead a Fortune 500 company, and she’s determined to make sure she isn’t the last. Her advocacy for communities of color help close achievement gaps in wealth creation, educational outcomes, and career success. Thasunda uses her platform to spread awareness about retirement planning and financial inclusion for those who have historically been ignored and marginalized by financial institutions.
3. Tiffany Aliche
Tiffany Aliche a.k.a “The Budgetnista”) is a prolific financial educator dedicated to helping women better their financial futures. Her book Get Good With Money is a New York Times bestseller and her website offers educational resources for learning how to manage and save money. She offers helpful guides, checklists, and other tools women can use to achieve financial success without feeling overwhelmed.
4. Tori Dunlap
After saving $100,000 at age 25, Tori Dunlap quit her corporate job in marketing and founded the feminist company Her First $100K to fight financial inequality and the patriarchy. Through financial education, Tori has guided over three million women through negotiating their salary, paying off debt, building savings, and investing their money to achieve financial freedom. She continues to be an inspiration for badass women everywhere as the host of her podcast, “Financial Feminist.”
