The crystals and touchstones that ground, inspire, and delight us from day to day.
– KEYS SOULCARE
With the look, feel, and awe of precious stones — not to mention centuries-old histories — crystals are a huge part of everything we do at Keys Soulcare. From the lightworker stories we tell to the science-proven healing properties of malachite, obsidian, and quartz, the ideas and stories they inspire are infinite.
Today, we’re sharing some of the reasons our own team leans on healing stones and crystals. The stories vary from day-to-day visual inspiration to helping us during challenging times, but one thing’s for sure: These stones are pure magic.
“I love to take my stones and crystals with me to the wilderness. I dip them in rivers, hold them under waterfalls, and bury them in soil. These places and experiences come home in the stones and bring me back again when I hold them.” — Sally, Finance Director
“I keep a selenite stick — which is known to reset the energy in any given space with a quickness — on my nightstand. I also tend to have one floating around inside whatever work bag I’m carrying for the day. Whether I find myself curled up in my apartment’s office or on a coffee shop’s patio, it makes for the simplest, prettiest focal point when I’m trying to brainstorm.” — Tiffany, Content Director
“I wasn’t much of a crystal fan or believer until I went through a serious illness and a friend gave me a pouch from A Little Box of Rocks. Inside the little bag were four shimmering, healing stones: citrine, amethyst, ametrine, and clear quartz, as well as a little scroll of paper holding a secret message from my friend. I became partial to the smooth purple amethyst, a stone that some claim to have healing and spiritual properties. I’d hold and rub it between my fingers and it brought me so much solace. Just a tremendously meditative and thoughtful gift that got me through.” — Margit, Editorial Director
“I love the color and texture of an amethyst I got from a tiny witch shop in Orlando, Florida. It adds an earthy element to my room that flows so well with my plant collection.” — Justin, Social Strategist
“Admittedly, I’m not a huge crystal person; however, my mom gave me a rose quartz tree that I proudly display on my mantle. Rose quartz is known for doubling down on wealth and good luck — and I really feel that on a cellular level. I’m a full-time freelance writer and editor, which can definitely be overwhelming. (Especially when the shelter-in-place order blurs the work-life balance.) But, this little crystal cluster serves as a reminder to stay grateful and grounded. I’m very lucky to be able to make a living doing something I love, and I try to never lose sight of that.” — Kelsey, Editor
One of our favorite stones, obsidian, can be found in our Obsidian Facial Roller. This crystal revitalizes the look of skin tone, texture, and suppleness. Watch how our founder, Alicia Keys, uses the facial roller during her skincare ritual. Other offerings that feature stones include Skin Transformation Cream, Let Me Glow Illuminating Priming Serum and Gleam On Highlighting Balm.
